Evangelical Auxiliary Raises nearly $45,000 for Hospital Programs

The Evangelical Auxiliary held its Annual Spring Luncheon at the Country Cupboard, Wednesday, May 15, 2013. The Auxiliary holds various events throughout the year to raise funds for Evangelical Hospice, The Family Place, the Thyra M. Humphreys Center for Breast Health, supplies for the SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) program, and yarn for blankets given to newborns of The Family Place. The luncheon is a way to celebrate the Auxiliary’s accomplishments and to hear how their funds have supported the Hospital’s growth and success. This year, the Auxiliary presented the Hospital with a check for $44,560 – another step toward their goal of raising $200,000 in five years.
