Evangelical Hospice Holds Memorial Service

Evangelical Hospice held its annual Memorial Service on Sunday, April 21, 2013 to honor and celebrate the lives of patients and loved ones who shared their end of life journey with the support of Evangelical Hospice.
The service, held at St. John's United Church of Christ, Buffalo Road, Lewisburg, was led by Hospice Chaplain, Ricky Phillips, with hospice staff and volunteers participating in many aspects of the service. Music filled the air as the Buffalo Valley Singers performed. Hospice Medical Director, P. Ronald Zug, provided special music as well as Shirley Smith and MaryAnn Stiller, Hospice Volunteers, who played a beautiful piano/flute duet.
The afternoon featured special reverence to Hospice patients who passed away between February 1, 2012 and January 31, 2013. A reception hosted by Hospice volunteers completed the afternoon.
