Michael N. O'Keefe, President/CEO. Mr. O'Keefe was appointed President and CEO in September 2004 after serving the Hospital previously as Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Operations. He holds a Master of Public Administration degree from The American University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Lawrence University of Canton, New York. Prior to working at Evangelical, Mr. O'Keefe served as Vice President for Operations at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, Newark, New York from 1984 to 1991, and was the Administrative Assistant for Professional Services and Director for Health Related Services for the Community General Hospital of Syracuse, New York from 1977 to 1984.

Mr. O'Keefe is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives. He is also an active member of the Board of Directors of Swineford National Bank.

Kendra A. Aucker, Vice President - Subsidiary Operations. Ms. Aucker holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Frederick Taylor University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University. Mrs. Aucker served as Regional Manager for Capital Blue Cross from 1997 to 1999. From 1990 to 1997, she served as Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Evangelical Community Hospital, and from 1986 to 1990, as Community Relations Coordinator for SUN Home Health Services. Mrs. Aucker is a licensed agent in Accident and Health, Life and Fixed Annuities through the Insurance Department of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Aucker is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Medical Group Managers Association, and serves on the Boards of Directors for the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Susquehanna Valley and is the chair of the Board of the Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way. She is also President of the Selinsgrove Rotary Club and a member of the American Heart Association Union County Board of Directors.

Linda Boose, Director - Planning. Ms. Boose earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Bloomsburg University. She is also a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in microbiology. She has previously served as Vice President of Evangelical's Medical Services Foundation, as well as Assistant Vice President of Physician Office Practices at Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center.

Ms. Boose is currently a member of the Williamsport YMCA Board of Directors.

J. Lawrence Ginsburg, MD, CPE, Vice President - Medical Affairs. Dr. Ginsburg was named Vice President for Medical Affairs in 2004. He started a family practice in Lewisburg in 1976 and joined the Hospital's Medical Staff. In 1996, Dr. Ginsburg joined the Evangelical Medical Services Organization. He received his Medical Doctorate from Temple University School of Medicine and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin and Marshall College. Dr. Ginsburg completed his residency at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, PA. He is Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and is a Certified Physician Executive and Diplomat of the American College of Physician Executives. Dr. Ginsburg is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice and Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice.

Dr. Ginsburg is a member of the American Medical Association, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Union County Medical Society, American Academy of Family Practice and Pennsylvania Academy of Family Practice. He is actively involved with Temple Beth Hashalom in Williamsport.

Christine Martin, Vice President, Finance/Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Martin was named Chief Financial Officer in December 2005. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree in System Management from Baldwin Wallace College and a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and economics from Kent State University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant. She recently served as CFO of Knox Community Hospital in Central Ohio from 2003 to 2005, and Controller from 2002 to 2003. Her healthcare experience includes vice president of finance for Ohio Health Choice and actuarial and underwriting analysis for Medical Mutual of Ohio.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is an active member of the Board of Directors of the United Way Chapter of Susquehanna Valley.

Scott Peterson, Vice President - Information Services. Mr. Peterson was named Vice President of Information Services in 2001. He holds a Masters Degree in Public Management/Information Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts. Mr. Peterson served as Vice President/Chief Information Officer at Carlisle Regional Medical Center from 1997-2001 and Director of Information Systems at St. Francis Health System from 1986-1997.

Mr. Peterson serves as Secretary of the Board of the Lewisburg Sunrise Rotary.

Michael P. Pierce, Vice President - Human Resources. Mr. Pierce was named Vice President of Human Resources in August 1997. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Niagara University, Niagara Falls, New York. Mr. Pierce served as Vice President of Human Resources at Brighton Medical Center from 1989-1997 and as Vice President of Human Resources for Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg, from 1985-1988.

Mr. Pierce is a long-standing member of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the American Society of Hospital Human Resource Administration. He is an active Board member and treasurer of the M-C Federal Credit Union, Danville, a past Board member of the Union County United Way, a member of the Lewisburg Lions Club and represents the Hospital at the Central Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce.

Tami Radecke, Vice President - Community Relations/Chief Development Officer. Ms. Radecke earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995 from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia and an Associate in Business Administration degree from Harrisburg Area Community College. She served as the Executive Director of the United Way of the Central Susquehanna Valley from 1999-2002, and the Director of Foundation and Corporate Support at Susquehanna University from 1997-1999.

Ms. Radecke is a 2002 graduate of Leadership Susquehanna Valley, and is on the Board of Directors for Lewisburg Downtown Partnership, Planned Giving Council of Central Pennsylvania, and Selinsgrove Projects, Inc.

Richard E. Smith, Jr., Chief Operations Officer. Mr. Smith was named COO in 2008. He holds a Master of Social Work degree with a special emphasis on aging from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Morgan State University. He has also served in the Maryland Air National Guard as a member of the Aircrew Life Support.

Mr. Smith came to Evangelical from Mercy Health Partners in Scranton, where he served as Vice President of Physician Services and Development. Prior, he held the positions of Assistant Administrator and Director of Clinical Development at Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Portland, Oregon. He also has served as the Director of Holistic Health Services in the Bon Secours Baltimore Health System.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Smith was a counselor at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, Maryland, providing therapy and intervention services to patients diagnosed with psychiatric disorders, as well as successfully developing and implementing DWI and relapse prevention programs.

As COO, Mr. Smith will provide oversight and leadership of all operations functions at the Hospital and serve as a member of the Executive Operating Team.

Paul E. Tarves, Vice President - Nursing Administration. Mr. Tarves was appointed Vice President -Nursing in 1995. He holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Widener University, Philadelphia. Mr. Tarves has also served as Director of Medical/Surgical Nursing at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville from 1991 to 1995, and as Vice President of Nursing at Taylor Hospital, Ridley Park, PA from 1988 to 1990. He also served as Director of Nursing for Metropolitan Hospital, Springfield, PA from 1986 to 1988.

Mr. Tarves is a current member of the Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders, a Board member of the Union County United Way, the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau (National Nursing Honor Society).
