Leg pain is an everyday problem for tens of thousands of Americans. The pain is often a result of Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD), a circulatory condition caused by a blockage of the blood vessels in the legs. The most common symptoms of PVD are aching, tiredness or cramping in the legs, numbness, tingling or coldness, or sores on the feet that do not heal.
This is a free screening program for people who are concerned they may be at risk for PVD who are not currently under the care of a vascular surgeon or other physician who is treating vascular disease in the legs.
Appointments are required by calling Community Health aand Wellness at (570) 768-3200.
