Our Clinical Ladder provides nurses the opportunity to grow within the organization and professionally advance their careers. The Clinical Ladder, based on Benner's research, provides a five level framework, which delineates level of expertise based on competency, experience and professional growth. The program reflects our commitment to recognizing excellence in quality nursing practice.
Before we begin our working relationship together, we want you to feel welcome and understand our core values. To accomplish this, all nurses attend general, clinical, and unit-based orientations. These orientations will prepare you to work within our hospital and our clinical settings.
PICS (Partners In Coaching for Success) provide selected experienced nursing staff additional training that will assist our new employees smooth transitions to the clinical units. An interactive and reflective program, PICS prepares our experienced staff to move forward within their profession and new employees the benefit of being guided by highly skilled and knowledgeable nursing professionals.
Evangelical extends itself into our communities, reaching out to local schools to offer opportunities available to students interested in nursing. We also provide opportunities to gain additional clinical experience and income for those students currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
