 Evangelical’s Commitment – Pandemic Preparedness
In keeping with Evangelical’s commitment to excellence every day, we believe that it is prudent to continually strive to address all potential health issues. While at this time the potential for pandemic influenza is unclear, the Hospital is fully committed to plan for this event, should it occur. We believe that advanced education and preparation are keys to a successful defense against such an outbreak. Evangelical is involved as a partner with local, state and federal agencies and institutions in implementing an appropriate strategy for this issue. What follows are some frequently asked questions, a brief history of influenza and a list of important links to be used for more education and information.
