Evangelical’s Nutrition Counseling Services provides the guidance of a Registered Dietitian (RD) to help you meet a variety of nutritional needs. A dietitian provides one-on-one instruction and counseling about lifestyle changes associated with food. A dietician can assist you in managing nutrition related conditions, including diabetes and cardiovascular disease through medical nutrition therapy.
In addition to individual counseling, a twelve-week “Why Weight” program is offered several times each year. This group setting incorporates the nutrition expertise of the Registered Dietitian and the behavior modification tips from a Personal Life Coach. Other services available include body composition analysis that measures the percentage of body fat, nutrition analysis of meals, bariatric consultation, and group presentations.
