The Evangelical Gala, sponsored by Moran Industries, raised $74,000 this year, $4,000 more than last year. Over 260 were in attendance during the black tie affair held at Bucknell University on Saturday, March 13. The event was sponsored by Moran Industries. The money will provide funding for the Surgical and Cardiovascular Expansion project at the hospital, a 41,000 square foot expansion.

The project’s two objectives will provide:
1) A new state-of-the-art surgical suite with:
• Eight operating rooms with each room being more than twice the size of each of our current six operating rooms;
• A new 16-bed recovery area; and
• Space for expanded support services

2) A new cardiovascular suite with:
• Two catheterization labs
• Seven patient rooms, and
• Comfortable space for visitors and families to wait while loved ones are having procedures.

This new facility will provide the space, equipment and technology to continue its mission of providing advance care and procedures.
