Nutrition Counseling Services

Comprehensive Healthy Eating Advice

We help you manage your nutrition for a variety of reasons, whether you want to lose weight or better control your diabetes. Our Fitness Center and Diabetes Clinic may also serve as additional resources.

Evangelical’s Nutrition Counseling Services provides the guidance of a Registered Dietitian (RD) to help you meet a variety of nutritional needs.

A dietitian provides one-on-one instruction and counseling about lifestyle changes associated with food. A dietitian can assist you in managing nutrition related conditions, including diabetes and cardiovascular disease through medical nutrition therapy.

Weight Loss Education

In addition to individual counseling we offer Evangelical EDGE - Empowering Dimensional Growth Every Day, a six-week course, that guides you though the dimensions of health and wellness from goal setting to success. Each week will focus on a specific topic: physical activity, healthy eating, stress management, self and social support, and overall well-being.
