Blaise Alexander Buick, Cadillac, and GMC Donates Toward the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Throughout the month of October Blaise Alexander Buick, Cadillac, and GMC of Sunbury took on the challenge to raise funds in the fight against Breast Cancer.

The dealership chose to donate $50 for each new and previously owned car sold during October. They sold a total of 82 cars for a final donation of $4,100 coming to the Thyra M. Humphreys Center for Breast Health at Evangelical Community Hospital. The effort was part of the Paint the Valley Pink campaign, an annual partnership of Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation and Evangelical Community Hospital to raise breast cancer awareness.

The donation will be used by the Center for Breast Health to provide mammograms and breast imaging to women who are uninsured and underinsured, support the cancer survivorship program that provides extra services beyond medical to those diagnosed with cancer, and offset the cost of equipment and technology that allows the Center to remain a comprehensive and modern facility serving the needs of the community.

For more information about the Thyra M. Humphreys Center for Breast Health or to schedule a mammogram, call 570-522-4200.
