Betz and Proud Lead Anesthesia Care at Evangelical Community Hospital

Evangelical Community Hospital has announced leaders of anesthesia services at the Hospital.
Lori A. Betz, CRNA, MSN, has been named Chief Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Evangelical Community Hospital.
In this role, Betz coordinates the Hospital's team of CRNAs in the administration of anesthesia for surgeries and other medical procedures. She also works with the Medical Director of Anesthesiology, Operating Room personnel, and other Hospital departments to ensure surgeries and other medical procedures requiring anesthesia are conducted efficiently and safely while achieving clinically-desired results.
Betz has worked as a CRNA at Evangelical since 2012. Prior to that, she was a CRNA at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Millersville University. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing and graduated from the CRNA program at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia.
Lisa Proud, RN, BSN, Director of Peri Operative Services at Evangelical Community Hospital has also recently been named as Director of the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
Proud has worked as a nurse at Evangelical since 1992. She has served as a team leader for preadmission care, and with her added responsibilities will serve as Director of both Peri Operative Services and Post Anesthesia Care Unit. Proud earned her Degree in Nursing from the Children’s Hospital School of Nursing in Boston and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University in Boston.
