Donna Schuck Earns CFRE Certification, Gold Standard for Fundraising Executives

Donna Schuck, Associate Vice President/Chief Development Officer at Evangelical Community Hospital, has successfully attained the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification. The CFRE is administered by CFRE International, an independent nonprofit organization whose sole mission is dedicated to setting standards in philanthropy for fundraising professionals.
Schuck was named Chief Development Officer in November 2013 after serving as the Hospital’s Director of Development for nearly a year.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from West Virginia University, Morgantown, and a Master of Education Degree from the University of Virginia, Curry School of Education, Charlottesville.
Shuck is a member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, and Rotary International-Selinsgrove Club. She serves on the Board of the Selinsgrove Area Community Foundation and the Planned Giving Council of Central Pennsylvania. Shuck is a committee Member of the Selinsgrove Commons Trust and is a graduate of Leadership Susquehanna Valley--Class of 2010.
Individuals granted the CFRE credential have met a series of standards set by CFRE International which include tenure in the profession, education, and demonstrated fundraising achievement for not-for-profit organizations. They have also passed a rigorous written examination testing the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of a fundraising executive, and have agreed to uphold Accountability Standards and the Donor Bill of Rights.
With the completion of the program, Schuck joins nearly 6,000 professionals around the world who hold the CFRE designation.
