Evangelical’s Selinsgrove Imaging Center Team Presented Excellence Award

The Selinsgrove Imaging Center team was recently presented with the Team CHOICE Award at Evangelical Community Hospital. Kendra Aucker, President and CEO of Evangelical Community Hospital, along with other members of the leadership team, presented the team the award at the Selinsgrove location.

The Team CHOICE Award recognizes departments within the Evangelical Community Hospital family of facilities who uphold the highest standards of Communication, Hospitality, Ownership, Integrity, Confidentiality, and Empathy. The award is given quarterly to a department out of nominations received from employees and managers.

In order to effectively diagnose and treat a majority of conditions, physicians and surgeons need to know what’s going on inside the body. The Selinsgrove Imaging Center team of licensed technologists use today’s advanced technology to generate images that are analyzed and interpreted by board-certified radiologists.

The group was nominated by Scott Zeiber, Team Leader of Selinsgrove Imaging, to receive the honor. The nomination was supported by Wendy Rowan, Director, Imaging Services, who said, “The team demonstrates excellent teamwork and a collaborative spirit in working with many internal and external customers.”

Rowan continued, “They are patient focused and exhibit compassion, respect, and accountability in meeting the needs of their patients and co-workers. Patients often thank staff for the friendly experience they encounter during their imaging visit. The staff truly believe in making a difference for their patients.”

The award was fully supported by Angela Lahr, Associate Vice President of Clinical Operations who said, “During a recent X-ray equipment replacement, the team went above and beyond to ensure the patient care and referring office routines were minimally impacted. Their teamwork and dedication to our patients shined brightly.”
