Evangelical Acquires Brookpark Family Practice, PC

Effective September 10, 2018, Brookpark Family Practice, PC, located at 98 Reitz Boulevard, Lewisburg, joins the Evangelical Community Hospital family of specialty practices and will operate under the name Family Medicine of Evangelical-Lewisburg.

Michael Brown, MD, and the practice staff have become part of the Evangelical family of employees as a result of the acquisition. Existing patients of Dr. Brown will continue to be part of the practice, which is also accepting new patients.

“We’re excited to add Dr. Brown’s practice to our offerings for family medicine,” said Holly Deiter, Primary Care Operations Director for Evangelical Medical Services Organization. “Dr. Brown has been a long-standing, well-trusted healthcare provider to people of all ages in our communities for many years. His philosophy of caring for the whole patient and establishing relationships to provide the best possible care is one that fits perfectly with the Family Medicine of Evangelical’s vision for care.”

Brookpark Family Practice, PC, has been a fixture in the medical community since 1984, providing over three decades of family medicine. Family medicine’s goal is to nurture an ongoing, patient-centered relationship that emphasizes individualized, integrated care over the entire lifespan of the patient. The scope of services provided includes general medical care for people of all ages, obstetrics and gynecology, geriatric care, inpatient visits at local medical facilities including the Hospital and nursing homes, and more.

The expert staff of the new Family Medicine of Evangelical-Lewisburg includes Dr. Brown who is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and Jennifer M. Santo, PA-C.
