Evangelical Community Health and Wellness Offers Same Great Services at New Location

Evangelical Community Health and Wellness has announced its new location on the Evangelical Community Hospital Campus. As of July 25, 2017, the health and wellness department will be located in Suite 116 and Suite 120 on the first floor of the Professional Office Building, the multi-level, brick building across from the Big Lots plaza that runs parallel to Hospital Drive.

All Community Health and Wellness activities previously scheduled at the 210 JPM Road, Lewisburg, facility, will now be held in Suite 120, the conference room at the new location. 

Evangelical Community Health and Wellness is the community outreach arm of the Hospital that offers a wide variety of activities aimed at encouraging a healthy lifestyle and taking control of behaviors for a higher quality of life at no or low cost. Some of the offerings include health screenings, monthly classes about a various health topics, fitness offerings, group programs such as Senior Strong lectures, prepared childbirth classes, vaccinations, car seat safety checks, wellness at work, and more.

Evangelical is a non-profit organization that employs over 1,700 individuals and has more than 170 employed and non-employed physicians on staff. The Hospital is licensed to accommodate 132 overnight patients, 12 acute rehab patients, and 18 bassinets. The Hospital serves residents throughout the Central Susquehanna Valley, including those living in Snyder, Union, Northumberland, and Lycoming counties

Evangelical Community Hospital was recently awarded a grant of $50,000 from the Ralph and Josephine Smith Fund at the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania (FCFP). The funds are designated to support the Hospital’s Enhancing the Evangelical Experience Campaign, a comprehensive campaign that will provide philanthropic support for the Patient Room Improvement, Modernization, and Enhancement (PRIME) project, as well as, support for vital community care programs.
