Evangelical Community Hospital Introduces First Baby of 2019

Dakota Litz and Tiffany Shadel, residents of Montgomery, are the parents of the first baby of 2019 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, Pa. The couple welcomed the late New Year’s day arrival at 5:48 pm at The Family Place, Evangelical’s obstetrics unit, after going into labor at 2:45 am.

Kya Marie Litz, whose original due date was December 29, 2018, came into the world weighing 7 pounds and measuring 19.5 inches. She was delivered by Jessica Grant, Certified Nurse Midwife with OB/GYN of Evangelical, and the staff of The Family Place. Kya will join her big sister, Alexis Troup, age 11, at home.
