Keystone ACO

In 2013, Evangelical Community Hospital and its employed physicians joined the Keystone Accountable Care Organization (Keystone ACO) for a period of three years.

An ACO is a set of healthcare providers -- including primary care physicians, specialists, and hospitals -- who work together and accept collective responsibility for the cost of care delivered to a population of patients. Members of an ACO share savings and provide more effective patient care through improved efficiencies and open information exchange.
