24th Annual Evangelical Children’s Health Fair a HUGE Success

Evangelical Community Hospital held its 24th Annual Children’s Health Fair at the Susquehanna Valley Mall on Saturday, January 26 from 10 am to 2 pm. This year’s theme was Clifford is Big on Healthy Kids, featuring Clifford the Big Red Dog™. Nearly 1500 adults and children registered the day of the event and took part in the many activities.

The fair featured fun activities for parents and children focusing on the key factors of good health including eating right, exercising, taking part in health screenings, and making good decisions about healthy living. Over 132 organizations and businesses set up tables with different activities for kids and their parents.

The day’s main events included puppet shows by Kingdom Kidz, a performance from Downtown Dance, Story Time with Drew from 94KX, and a fitness challenge.

Children brought stuffed animals and dolls for a check-up by the pediatric professionals of  Evangelical Community Hospital and each child who registered received a free t-shirt with Clifford on the front.

The Children’s Health Fair was presented by Swineford National Bank with VNA Health System as a co-presenter. Program presenters were The Eye Center of Central PA and Lewisburg Gynecology and Obstetrics, PC.
