Gwendolyn Edwards, PsyD, Joins Psychology of Evangelical

Psychology of Evangelical welcomes Gwendolyn Edwards, PsyD, to its staff. She will begin seeing patients in November.

As a Psychologist, Dr. Edwards specializes in the treatment of emotional illnesses as well as working through how a medical diagnosis or issue may impact emotional well-being.

Dr. Edwards received her Doctor of Clinical Psychology with a family and couple therapy track at Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia, Pa. She completed her Doctoral Internship and Residency at the Growth Opportunity Center, Southampton, Pa.

In addition, Dr. Edwards has given time as an Adjunct Professor for the Clinical and Counseling Psychology Master’s Degree program at Chestnut Hill College for coursework focused on autism spectrum disorders. She also completed a certification in Perinatal Mental Health, advanced psychology track, from Postpartum Support International, the world’s largest non-profit organization based in evidence-based perinatal mental health.
