Evangelical Community Hospital Names Kendra Aucker Chief Operating Officer


Evangelical Community Hospital is pleased to announce that Kendra Aucker has recently been promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

Aucker has been employed by Evangelical Community Hospital for 18 of the last 20 years, first as Director of Marketing and Public Relations from 1990-1997, then as Vice President—Subsidiary Operations from 1999-2010. Since 2010, she has served as the Hospital’s Vice President – Operations. From 1997-1999, Kendra served as Regional Manager at Capital Blue Cross in Harrisburg.

Aucker earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Business Administration from Frederick Taylor University in Moraga, CA. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Medical Group Management Association, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Central Susquehanna Community Foundation. She is a member of the Selinsgrove Rotary Club and serves as a Director on the Selinsgrove Area Community Foundation Board. She is a former Director and past President of the Central Susquehanna United Way and was the volunteer of the year in 2005. Aucker is also a graduate of Leadership Susquehanna Valley, having served as its President and was the Distinguished Alumni Award recipient in 2006.

As Chief Operating Officer, Aucker will provide direction and leadership of all operations functions at the Hospital, including the construction of the new Surgical and Cardiovascular Expansion Project. She will also oversee the growth and implementation of key clinical service lines to ensure volume growth and optimize fiscal returns. She will continue to serve as Secretary of the Corporation.

A native of Selinsgrove, Aucker is the mother of two college-aged daughters.
