Talk with the Doc: Dr. Mucciolo Presents Fast, Effective Relief From Hernia Pain
For the 5 million Americans who have a hernia, surgery is the only relief. Surgical Specialists of Evangelical makes it possible for those suffering from a hernia to be set free from daily pain and discomfort without a long wait.
A Talk with the Doc Lecture focused on hernia pain, relief, and surgical options will be held at Evangelical Community Hospital on Thursday, March 10, 2016. A complimentary meal will be held at 5:30 pm with the lecture immediately following at 6:30 pm.
Presented by Joseph M. Mucciolo Jr., MD, FACS, a board certified surgeon at Surgical Specialists of Evangelical, the talk will center on what causes a hernia and the surgical procedures required to achieve total relief from hernia pain.
Dr. Mucciolo performs hernia procedures in a one day surgery setting, through a small incision, with less scarring, a quick recovery, and less risk of complication. Most patients go home a few hours after surgery and resume normal activities shortly thereafter. To get a preview of what Dr. Mucciolo says about hernia care, visit the Evangelical Community Hospital Facebook page or www.evanhospital.com/Hernia.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required and can be completed by calling 570-768-3200.
