Talk with the Doc: Dr. Mucciolo Presents Fast, Effective Relief From Hernia Pain
For the five million Americans who have a hernia, surgery is the only relief. Evangelical Community Hospital’s Hernia Center makes it possible for those suffering from a hernia to be set free from daily pain and discomfort without a long wait.
A Talk with the Doc Lecture focused on hernia pain will be held at Evangelical Community Hospital on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. A complimentary meal will be held at 5:30 pm with the lecture immediately following at 6:30 pm.
Presented by Joseph M. Mucciolo, Jr, MD, FACS, a board certified surgeon at Evangelical Surgical Specialists, the talk will center on what causes a hernia to appear and the surgical procedures required to have total relief from hernia pain.
Dr. Mucciolo leads Evangelical’s Hernia Center where he performs hernia procedures in an outpatient setting, through a small incision, with less scarring, a quick recovery and less risk of complication. Most patients go home a few hours after surgery and resume normal activities shortly thereafter.
Anyone living with a hernia and seeking answers for relief should attend this discussion to learn more about Evangelical’s Hernia Center. This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required and can be completed by calling (570) 768-3200.
