Prepared Childbirth

Prepared Childbirth classes are offered in either a four-week format from 6-8 PM on four consecutive Wednesday evenings or as a single Saturday class from 9 AM to 4 PM. These classes guide parents and support persons through childbirth, including labor, delivery, breathing and relaxation. 

The Weekend class is designed for the busy parents-to-be who are unable to attend the four-week classes. Everything you need to know about labor and delivery, breathing and relaxation will be covered in class at a fast pace. Parents are encouraged to continue to practice at home the breathing and relaxation exercises learned in class.

A Refresher Prepared Childbirth class is available by calling Community Health and Wellness 570-768-3200 to schedule your one-on-one class. Fee is $35.
