Evangelical Community Hospital Board of Directors

Evangelical Community Hospital has announced reappointments to its Board of Directors. The Board of Directors, made up of members of the community and Medical Staff, serve to guide the community Hospital in meeting the healthcare needs of the areas the Hospital serves.

Re-elected for a three-year term for the Class of 2023, were Timothy Apple, Lewisburg; Roger Haddon Jr., President/CEO, Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation; Jeffrey Kapsar, President/CEO, Mifflinburg Bank & Trust; and David Zelechoski, MD, Internal Medicine of Evangelical-Lewisburg as the Medical Representative.

Timothy Apple continues as Chair of the Board, with J. Donald Steele Jr. serving as Vice Chair.

Kathryn Giorgini, DO, will continue to serve as Medical Staff President for the Hospital, while Kenneth Jusko, DO, has been named Medical Staff Vice President. Additional Medical Staff representatives in addition to Dr. Zelechoski are Shawn McGlaughlin, MD, and Christopher Motto, MD.

Corporate Officers of the Board remain as Kendra Aucker, President; James A. Stopper, Treasurer; and William Anderson III, Corporate Secretary.

As part of its commitment to care of patients throughout the Greater Susquehanna Valley, Evangelical Regional Mobile Medical Services (ERMMS) is introducing a wheelchair/stretcher-enabled van to its fleet of service vehicles. The van will expand non-emergent transport services and accommodates patients requiring a wheelchair or stretcher as part of the transport process.

Evangelical’s COVID-19 Testing Site Moving November 2, 2020

October 26, 2020 - What’s Happening

Evangelical Community Hospital’s COVID-19 Alternative Testing Site will be opening at its new location on Monday, November 2, 2020. Operating from 9 am-6 pm, Monday through Friday, testing will be completed at 1499 St. Mary Street, Lewisburg, the corner of St. Mary and 15th streets, near the Central Susquehanna LPN Center.
