Common Surgeries

When necessary, WellSpan Orthopedics offers advanced surgical solutions and reconstructive surgery.

This surgery uses a small incision to relieve pressure on compressed nerves that are causing pain.

In this procedure, painful compressed nerve pressure is relieved by removing some or all of the disc that is causing the pressure.

Spinal fusion

This surgery involves fusing two or more vertebrae to relieve neck or back pain, and may use artificial screws and rods for additional support.
