For 38 years, WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital has hosted its Golf Classic event as an important fundraiser with proceeds earmarked for Evangelical Regional Mobile Medical Services (ERMMS). In 2024, the tournament raised over $37,500. The funds raised through registration, sponsorships, and on-the-course contests help to maintain the sophisticated equipment such as heart monitors, ventilators, automated CPR devices, and patient lifting devices, which are needed to provide emergency, life-saving care to our community. In total, the annual event has raised nearly $1,176,711 since its inception.

Morning winners were: first flight – Bucknell University, Balfurd Linen & Uniform, and Mifflinburg Bank & Trust with second flight winners being Apple/Community Giving Foundation foursome, The Daily Item, and RCM&D. Afternoon winners were: first flight – Bot’s Tavern, Briskey Foursome, and Fulton Bank with second flight winners being the Woodcock Foursome, the McNamara Foursome, and Weis Markets.

Thank you to our event sponsor Cornerstone Independent Asset Management, gift sponsor Mifflinburg Bank & Trust, and meal sponsor The Brothers that just do Gutters.

ERMMS provides life-sustaining treatments performed by nationally registered paramedics and EMTs at the scene of an emergency, answering over 12,000 calls per year with 70 percent of those being medical emergencies, 20 percent being trauma, and 10 percent classified as other. These emergency responders provide vital patient information to Emergency Department (ED) personnel before the patient arrives at the ED doors.
