Well Breast Clinic

At the Thrya M. Humphreys Center for Breast Health at Evangelical, we offer a Well Breast Clinic for patients who have no known risk factors for the disease.

Services

Our Well Breast Clinic provides:

  • annual mammograms
  • clinical breast exams for women whose primary care doctors do not provide them or for women who aren’t comfortable asking their primary care doctors to perform the exam

Support and Peace of Mind

Our Well Breast Clinic is dedicated to the prevention and early detection of breast cancer. By offering the support and peace of mind that can come with regular breast-health screenings.

A woman who begins having yearly mammograms at age 40 reduces her risk of dying from breast cancer by 40 percent. This compares with a 23 percent reduction in risk if she waits until age 50 to begin biennial mammograms.
