Community Health Needs Assessment
To demonstrate Evangelical Community Hospital's commitment to the well-being of our community, the Hospital completes a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) every three years. Our most recent CHNA was conducted from October 2017-May 2018 and complies with all requirements set forth by the Affordable Care Act.
The purpose of the CHNA is to provide Evangelical with pertinent health and socio-economic information that enables us to better serve our community through specific programs and services that meet the identified healthcare needs. The data collected through the assessment process clearly identified the following needs as those with the highest priority:
- Access to healthcare
- Behavioral health and substance abuse
- Health concerns related to lifestyle
